When

28 February 2026

1:00pm to 3:00pm

Come along for a 2-hour workshop led by creative Tikari Rigney (Kaurna, Ngarrindjeri and Narungga). This workshop will focus on the protest elements of the exhibition, which was led by Ngarrindjeri Women in the fight to protect and stop the Bridge connecting mainland Goolwa to Kumarangk.

You will learn how to collectively make protest banners, replicating the ones used by the women in the original protests. These works will be hung alongside the Kumarangk honouring wall for the duration of the exhibition.

Please note: This workshop is for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people only.

Underage participants must be accompanied by an adult supervisor for the duration of the entire workshop.
