About the Role

We’re looking for someone who will harness their cultural expertise, knowledge and experience of the visual arts sector, knowledge of SACE and the Australian Curriculum, professional networks, and program management skills to drive the development, sustainability, and delivery of our education and studio programs.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of engaging and educating our audiences to ensure we meet our purpose of making space for audiences and communities to learn from, grow through and be engaged with contemporary and experimental art.

You will also be responsible for the delivery of ACE’s long and short term studio residency programs, working with a range of program partners and stakeholders, and supporting artists throughout their residencies. A key focus of the role will be the continued development and delivery of the Future Studios program which is delivered in partnership with the Department for Education and which provides vital arts career experience to First Nations secondary school students. This key education and pathways program was piloted in 2024 and you will oversee its continued growth and sustainability. Your deep understanding of First Nations culture and sensitivity to the cultural needs of Aboriginals communities will be invaluable as you collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to bring this program to life.
